Authentic Cultural Village & Community Visit

Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi and drive into the Maasai steppe to an authentic, community-run Maasai village (Boma).

Receive a warm traditional greeting from Maasai village elders and women adorned in vibrant red Shúkà garments. Participate in the iconic Adumu jumping dance and listen to traditional chanting.

Tour mud-and-thatch boma huts, learn about pastoralist cattle herding traditions, fire-making without matches using wooden sticks, and traditional bush medicine herbs used by Maasai healers.

Enjoy a delicious lunch served in the village, followed by a hands-on beadwork workshop with Maasai women creating colorful wristbands and necklaces. Return to your hotel in the afternoon.
